Assistance for your home energy expenses
We understand that households sometimes need help wiht their fuel costs, and we’re happy to accept Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) customers. HEAP is a federally funded program that helps cover annual energy costs.
To apply for HEAP, take the following steps:
Step 1: Contact our Mirabito Care Center team specialist to help set up an account and provide you with your Mirabito account number.
Step 2: Call your local county office and talk to them about choosing Mirabito to be your fuel provider and fill out any necessary applications. Select the state and/or county in which you are a resident to be directed to the appropriate contact. Provide your Mirabito account number to your contact at your local energy assistance agency to begin receiving assistance:
Step 3: Ask your local Mirabito office for an Energy Assistance voucher to be faxed to 607-584-5133.
